Hey Guys, got some really bad experience with HLB service and would like to seek for some advise.
In November 2014, I have decided to cancel my HLB credit card, I send request via HLB online (Replied me once for confirmation then no more reply from them), I called CS and they help me to submit the card cancellation request, few days later, someone from HLB credit card department called me and told me that I still have reward point yet to redeem, they are unable to process with my card cancellation untl all my point is being redeemed. I stress that I would forfeit my reward point and proceed for card cancellation, in the end they insist they can't do that. She add on I shall redeem the reward and call the CS to cancel the card before March 2015 so that no annual fees will be charged.
In the end of December 2014, I submitted my redemption through HLB online.
January 2015, I notice HLB charge me RM160 for annual fees and I called their CS. CS told me they will waive the annual fees for me, he said I don't have to pay any amount and they will waive the annual fees in my next statment.
05 February 2015, I receive my statement, they didn't waive my annual fees and charged me RM10 for late payment and RM2.25 for interest. I called their CS again, this time the CS said, I should pay the balance RM172.25 first only they can waive for me.
My question is, if I really pay the RM172.25, will they really waive for me? The company is really untrustworthy. Now I am being charge for late payment, will it affect my record for future loan application?
P.S: after 1 month+ I still not yet receive my redemption reward, they said they will check for me, but no reply from them.
