All Union Pay cards must have pin.

Mine dont have lah...

Last time I used it at Parkson Pavilion, the cashier asked me to key in pin, I just simply keyed in.. And it works.

I m not sure does it work or not in mainland China with the simply key in pin...

Icbc... Anyway, I m still awaiting for boc Malaysia to issue the cup card..

Yeah, just noticed BOC doesn't have credit cards, only debit cards.

Now the annual fee is waive with any 5x usage per annum.
For its visa no problem, but its cup, susah sikit...

we can apply for this card ? i frequent travel to china.. guess its useful as well..

I have ICBC Debit Card issued by Malaysia and the Union Pay credit card is for Malaysians as well.

We are Malaysian obviously.

The first line says it all: "√ A copy of NRIC (both sides) or Passport for Principal and Supplementary card applicant (if any) "

so sorry haha.. i overlook "NRIC" .. how long the application process took? CL generous / high compare other banks?

now? application must submit through branch? or can via email?

Either thru branches or send by post, after you download and fill in all information..

may i ask how to send? or have to call telemarketing department? cause i wish to send all my documents through email ...

how long the application took you? i see they only need simple income documents

China banks are not flexible comparing to our local banks and their online banking system sucks in my opinion but they said they have tight security. Have to install certificate in browser and etc. So far the worst online banking I encountered. This should be taken into consideration should you really want to apply for one.

For applications, they prefer you to walk in. Well, the branch is near to me, opposite of KLCC.

Mine took about 1 month to process...

Yaya, I try to register the online banking, but end up give out..
