tonight i have received sms'es from cimb regarding transactions with BLIZZARD ENT*ONL STORE which i never did. is it the starcraft developer?

7 transaction within 15 minutes, which total amount is usd280.

i have googled, this fraud is worldwide since few years back,

so i've called, they already block my card. will send a new one with dispute form, and said will request the company to do reversal and take about 1 month plus to investigate

should i lodge police report? what is your advise?

Just a question. Like to qualify for annual fees waiver I need to swipe a certain amount of time or spend a minimum. Is online purchases considered as 'swiping'?

Climb called me previously and claim free for life and get absorb.
I was busy and requested them to call me back but they never did.
Hence I ask here.

Bro, you got couple thousand ringgit to deposit or purchase banks product, any bank also will give you personalized service tongue.gif All the so called Private/Premier/Privilege/Priority Banking is just a marketing strategy where they will assign so called Relationship Managers to push banks products. However, no MBB Private Banking Relationship Manager will be assigned to MBB VI card holders so don't expect any personalized service. However, with the MBB VI, you can go to the Private Banking counters/tellers instead of going to the general hall, but don't expect everyone in all MBB branches (that have Private Banking facilities) to know that.. some may tell you that you are nor eligible to use the Private Banking counters.

Get the Maybank Visa Infinite if you do spend substantial amount overseas to earn 5X TP with every Ringgit spent and superb conversion of reward points to Enrich Miles. These two said benefits makes the MBB Visa Infinite unparalleled to any other cards out there.

For more info on Maybank Visa Infinite and reviews, please check out my following articles:

Happy Chinese New Year Guys!

I am currently overseas and won't be posting much here until I get home. Using my cheapo low end 14" notebook currently and my eyes are already strained with just me replying to couple posts and reading some replies to my earlier posts. Need to go look for a cheap 23" monitor here in Melbourne.

Those of you who have time to waste - click here to read my article Year Of The Horse Chinese New Year Red Packets - Ang Pow Lai Lai Lai and get to see Ang Pows from Alliance Privilege Banking, Citibank Citigold, Hong Leong Bank Priority Banking, OCBC Premier Banking, RHB Premier Banking, UOB Privilege Banking and H&M too.

Happy Chinese New Year 2014. May the year of the horse bless you with abundant wealth, good fortune, endless happiness and excellent health.

No, it is based on the currency exchange rate and bank admin fee. Refer here for more info:

Hi Guys, just wanted to share that when I recently cancelled my Public Bank Credit Card and Hong Leong Platinum Credit Card, both companies offered me a RM50 Cash Rebate to offset my GST in order to retain my Card.

As I already have other Cards and hardly use the above 2-cards, I did not take up their offer.

But to those who do use their Cards, just call up do insist that they give you the RM50 cash rebate.

actually someone suggested that we should request more than rm50, for example rm100 or rm150, because a mere rm50 does not benefit us as it goes straight to the gst. laugh.gif
and that person actually did receive rm100 or rm150 from the bank (standchart if not mistaken).

I have also cancelled my Stan Chart Card and the CS said that the Retention Dept will call me back. Perhaps I will try that.
