Someone here might be able to give some advice..

I have a few credit cards:

1. CIMB platinum cash rebate mastercard
2. Maybank platinum 2 cards (visa and amex)
3. Citibank business visa platinum
4. Public Bank visa platinum

I am about to make a huge payment (30K+) and then 0% BT for that amount. Anyone can advise me which card to be used, in terms of the points etc...

Thanks in advance..

when you lost your card, did MBB CS offer u new card? or did u request new card?

when my card was used in unauthorised transactions, i alerted MBB CS and asked them barred it. the CS mentions new card will be issue and send to me, but im lost confidence with MBB with such incident, i rejected the offer.

just wanna ask for conditional annual fee waiver for example swipe 12 times, does it mean that we will be 1st charged the annual fee on our anniversary and subsequently waived or the annual fee will be charged at the end of the year cycle?

AF is charged at the end of your card 1 year period. So the 12x swipes need to be done before the date. Depending on the bank, some will charge the AF and followed by the waiver on the next line when that condition is met ie. no need to pay.

BNM's rule: Minimum income requirement to get a card = RM 24k per annum
BNM's rule: Annual income of RM 36k and below = Two issuers' banks card (maximum)

As of the RM 30k/annum or RM 36k/annum to get specific card, that's the requirement from banks.

No limit of the card that you can hold if your annual income is RM 36,0001 and above. However, it doesn't mean that banks will approve you even if you fulfill the income requirements, there are many factors as well. For e.g., your credit history and etc. smile.gif

The amount of salary is gross salary, meaning to say before tax, before EPF, before SOCSO (if any).
