I prefer the perfect condition version too...Brother, the perfect condition DBS from IXO? Not magazine collection right?
*
I believe is same, since the diorama base and prop card picture are the same.

But I might just get the damaged version, since the Casino Royale one is a perfect car. laugh.gif

the battle damaged is juz...  sweat.gif
(where James Bond go? Jump out the car?)
but if got many DBS already, sure will plan for damaged one.
*
Oh, just realized that. Wonder if there's any models with Daniel Craig's figurine or not. If got, just transplant him over into it. tongue.gif

Oh, just saw this at the wiki link strikermac posted:

"Models from 'Casino Royale' (except issue 100) and 'Quantum of Solace' have been neglected miniature figures, even if the scene in which they are depicted requires one."

Between the old versions, I liked the DB-5 more.

Yeah, most people love the DB5. The submarine Lotus ain't too bad either. icon_idea.gif

sorry but the Jaguar is the most iconic James Bond car in history, then DB5 then Lotus.

The BMW Z is probably the least iconic James Bond car.
*
Jaguar? hmm.gif

But we're talking about the general James Bond fans. They regard the DB5 as the car that defined subsequent James Bond rides and the Lotus as the "most iconic" in the franchise.

Agreed, but it will be much much better if they were the same size. The submarine version is bigger.
Hope got another version with machine gun in the headlight.
*
Machine gun in headlights? That one already appeared in issue 3, with the passenger seat ejected one.

you don't need to keep using the same line of cars to make it popular & iconic.

Aston martin gets the most exposure due to them willing to chuck out the biggest amount of money.
*
If you want to know, Ian Fleming actually wrote James Bond to drive Bentleys. laugh.gif

need to refer back the thread. I always choose iconic cars to collect.  tongue.gif

I mostly want cars that James Bond drove. Now I'm waiting for the Tomorrow Never Dies BMW 7-Series and the Aston Martin V8 Volante from The Living Daylights. May be getting the Ford Mustang Mach 1 from Diamonds Are Forever.
