guys, i just bought ps4 slim from DreamStore in Lazada.
open the box and wanted to register the ps4 warranty.
but here's the problem:

1. no sticker at the bottom of ps4, so i dont know the serial code
2. serial code on box, got lots of number and sticker on the box. which one is the code?
3. registration page. which page to register the warranty? Asia.Playstation.Com page doesnt get me anywhere to register the product.

Why not apply PS PLUS account ? You get free game every month for 1 year is worth the money you pay for PS PLUS and some game is AAA type .. Got Just Cause 3 for free last month.

PS Plus is optional, as long as you have a PSN account, you can buy and download games from PS Store.

PS Plus is not only for online multiplayer games. You get free games every month too, and those games can be single players too, just download them to your PS4 when you want to. And sometimes additional discount for games in store. And you can backup your saves online.

I don't play online games too, and I bought PS Plus coz they were giving Until Dawn and GOW3 that particular month, with 3 additional months to the 12 months subscription.

It's not a must, but can be quite worth it.

Based on my few months experience, being a PSN+ subscriber, I saved and gained a lot of money and free games. I don't play much multiplayer, but the discounts for games that I've long wanted has been really great deals. Its much cheaper than even 2nd hand bluray disk games. So far, I've bought a bunch of Resident Evil series at 50% discounts, the latest Horizon Zero Dawn at 50% discounts, the Uncharted series at 80% discounts, and others. And having the free games to download also lets me fill up my library fast. Now I have tons of choices to pick from whenever I have kids of guests coming over. In time, I'm waiting for good deals on racing and football games. Its roughly cost about RM10 per month for the subscription, money well spent to be honest.

No difference there, even if you don't play multiplayer games. Just go to your uncle house to download the PS Plus free games, just like those normal games.

As long as your subscription is active, you will have access to the PS Plus games in your library.

Only those FREE PS Plus games need your subscription to be active. See the emphasis on FREE.

You can still play those normal games you BOUGHT from the store, even WITHOUT PS Plus.

As for the Internet speed, that's up to you la I guess, I only mention it coz you say you'll be downloading games at your uncle's house.

and it even doesn't allowed you to play it before you done downloading it


just do some research before purchasing those games (physical/digital)
if you afraid that your internet speed might cause some disruption on your gaming experience
don't purchase those online multiplayer games with complex graphic that might interrupt your gaming experience
ex BATTLEFIELD

just buy those games that can be play offline OR
required less data when you play their online version (most probably in single player or co op mode)
and they only required "more" data just to update your trophy
