QUOTE(r2t2 @ Nov 23 2018, 09:37 AM) Your new PS4, should have dual-band 2.4GHz & 5GHz Wifi ... so, doesn't really matter if your home wifi router is on 2.4GHz or 5GHz mode only, or both. If old phat PS4, then that's only 2.4GHz wifi, can't see 5GHz wifi router. If your new PS4 can see neighbours' wifi, then try to confirm with mobile hotspot wifi, if PS4 can detect, then source of problem most probably your home wifi router ... troubleshoot it lor ... restart your wifi router, etc. ... Mine is new but my router is stone age so only 2.4GHz, i guess maybe the PS4 setting is on 5GHz only..could it be ??

QUOTE(Linkbotw @ Nov 23 2018, 01:24 PM) Nah. It should detect both. Try changing the channels of your wifi to something else. Like the Nintendo Switch wifi also very jalat. It wont detect 5Ghz other than channel 20 to 40 or something. OK..will try that but i'm actually noob in this wifi things as well..always have to depends on Mr Goo..gle..
