Based on my few months experience, being a PSN+ subscriber, I saved and gained a lot of money and free games. I don't play much multiplayer, but the discounts for games that I've long wanted has been really great deals. Its much cheaper than even 2nd hand bluray disk games. So far, I've bought a bunch of Resident Evil series at 50% discounts, the latest Horizon Zero Dawn at 50% discounts, the Uncharted series at 80% discounts, and others. And having the free games to download also lets me fill up my library fast. Now I have tons of choices to pick from whenever I have kids of guests coming over. In time, I'm waiting for good deals on racing and football games. Its roughly cost about RM10 per month for the subscription, money well spent to be honest.

That can be a problem I suppose.

I tried on usb stick it works like a charm, even can use subtitles. But on external storage doesn't detect the videos. Mayb I didn't set the right directory.

Sometimes happen to me too, especially if I made purchase through the console. My solution is to either access ps store via laptop or ps app on your mobile. Its somehow faster than via the console. Then once purchased, can just download into the console via game library.
