Hello...... I just bought a Japan Playstation.....seller already leave a note stating i need a power converter to turn it on.....but i tried it anyway becoz i dont have converter.....its on for 1 second and its off.....

Just one question......what kind of converter i need? Will this converter work? Thinking about getting this one.....

If that's true, burned already lor part of your board.  You just fed over-voltage that your JP PS1 can't handle.  Malaysia / UK / Europe house voltage is 230v/240v ... JP/US voltage is 110v/120v.  The seller already warned you, but you didn't listen or even google first.

But if the burned chip(s) can be replaced by a good technician, you can try lor, but most probably it's not worth it.  Ask around if you really want to salvage your freshly fried PS1.  Wasted your CH-1001 or 1002 (something?) ...

Wow i screw up big time....

From your explanation looks like psu unit already KO..... But i manage to find psx psu available online..... Direct from US btw..... Worth give it a try.....? Its for 110v US unit....

One problem is just the closest model is scph7501...mine is scph7000 japan unit......can use it or not?

Bought psx power board from him..... Work like charm....

But ps2 accessories i dunno whether he sells any.....try look for ur self.....
