Some DLCs are not just locked to specific disc regions, but also to the PSN account region it was downloaded with.For example, Battlefront 2.
if you buy the deluxe edition locally, you get the R3 disc.
The deluxe edition comes with some extras, such as Jedi in-training Rey, and no-mask Kylo Ren.
These extras will only appear on your account if you play on the R3 account you redeemed the dlc on.
If you switch to a R2 or R1 PSN account, the content will not appear and those unlockable items will not be unlocked.
