my advice to you stay away from wega situpid shop!
again, 4gb ORIGINAL is around rm399 like what you posted lah but those sg wang "original" 4gb isnt genuine lah and please take note those fake 4gb mspd very the slow transfer speed
so not true... i tried to check the methods to identify if the mspd is fake or not it is indead ori, yeap Rm399 .... those cut neck prices, recently just bought a 2gb high speed mspd (sony brand) for rm 74 (lelong new original seller that guy has lots more) last i check at atria is rm 299.
Yeap its kinda slow if u start to throw in few gig's of stuff inside ur mspd. LOL
If i am not mistaken fake mspd will not have magic gate supported if you check on the mspd information inside ur psp.
Last i check with my frens and myself my mspd both of them are original.

Sony Memory Stick? Shouldn't that be a good product? I believe its better than Sandisk, is it not? Are there different speeds in Memory Stick? I do not know. May somebody enlighten me bout Memory Stick speed?
I just called my buddy in Singapore and she told me that she recently bought a new PSP (pink). Her husband has one (black) for SGD$440 with modded firmware, a UMD game and everything else. She bought hers without the UMD for SGD$350. That's like RM770. I am thinking of asking her to buy me one this week and pass it to my other friend when he comes back this weekend. PRoblem now is I cannot decide on the color
[attachmentid=263542]
Which do you think is a good color?
Black - common and original
White - fast dirty I was told
Pink - for ladies
Blue - the color and the symbols on the buttons are too alike, look almost imitation
Gold - looks cool but gold are sort of ahpek
Silver - Looks pretty good too
I am eyeing on Gold, Silver or Black but I couldnt decide.
Yea, seems like it. I think its overpriced. Try to make a trip to Sg. Wang and you probably save up on tons.
By the way,
Firmware 1.50 and Firmware 3.40. What's the difference? I have heard from my friend in Singapore that 1.50 does not need UMD in the compartment, meanwhile 3.40 needs to have the UMD stored in your PSP (sort of like to bluff your machine as though you are playing from UMD but in actual fact, you are loading via Memory Stick).
Can someone clarify my confusion?
1. Got myself a silver one they are kinda cool

2. Firmware 1.5 and 3.40. The difference is 1.5 is the first firmware (stable) which allows psp users to play from iso backups( mspd) and homebrew applications/games). They uses a application called devhook to emulate different versions of firmware (Latest devhook version is 0.51)
3.40 OE-A ( was created by Dark Alex famous hacker but now stop due to threats from sony). It basically works well and very stable. This version can also play games without UMD (using the no UMD mode inside the recovery menu) .However chances of the game working is 20%. Or users can disable this function and just put any UMD disk inside the slot and play the game

.
Firmware version is very important as new games require newer firmware.Note both of them requires a UMD to play the games
Latest version of firmware is 3.51 m33 (by a group of russion hackers trying to re-use the "ci" from Dark Alex's codes). Btw i don't know what is "ci"
Anyway do correct me if i am wrong.
