king, how do setup LAN play between psp's?
using ad hoc or wifi?.

just flip that button, the ad hoc light will turn on... that's it.

let me explain this again...

wifi is a technology similar to LAN except that it is wireless.
Ad hoc uses wifi (that explains the coverage, similar to LAN, not too far)

to play multiplayers with PSP, we use ad hoc.

But when you surf, you need more than ad hoc. That's where the xkai link thing comes in. I dunno anything about that so i can't explain. When i say i play multiplayer, i am saying my fren is sitting beside me playing with me. I'm not playing online. Online, you need that x kai link.


think of wifi as wires/cables. We need cables to connect to each other (PC to PC or PSP to PSP).. as long as my PSP is connected to your PSP, we don't need internet to play multiplayer.

BUT, if you wanna go online, having wifi alone is not enough. We need a router (x kai link?)... that's why when starbucks say they have wifi, it doesn't mean they have "internet"... it means you can go there, there are cables (wifi) for you to connect to their router and surf the web. Except that this "cable" in invisible since wifi is a wireless LAN.

but no one ever mention that 1.5 > 2.71

conclusion: 1.5 lebih boleh than 2.71

One thing i need to tell you is, when the creators of wifi created wifi, they did not had "speed" in mind. Their goal is coverage... they try to make the area(LAN) as big as possible. That's why wifi is not reliable if you wanna download/upload things. That's why network game tends to be a lil laggy

still can remember last time psp 1.5 fired up till rm1.4k

unless u have luck to find a non-ta082 psp 2.71 and have luck no to brick it when dg it to the boleh 1.5.. kekeke
