but not sure about the conditions. Maybe they will ask u to buy either UMD or MSPD before they will sell you.

it's great.. had it for almost 3 weeks now...

except for 2 tiny stuck pixels that appear after i brought it back home.
it bugs me when i look at it, but it doesn't affect the display when playing games.

i bought only a PSP 1.5, i did not buy the software the lady was trying to sell me.
I installed DH myself... very easy. Took me sometime to figure out how to play lanun (iso) but i got it running now. it's easy.... pm me if u need help, don't get ripped for something that you can do for free.

i'm not into homebrews and stuff... cos iso alone already got manyak games.
I will try emulators after i finish playing all PSP games lol.

i checked my MSPD, it's confirmed ori.
I'm not too happy about it though... should have given Sandisk a try, better performance and cheaper. (well, maybe next time when i buy 4GB )

now i pokai liau.... but i'll survive, payday coming

i bought from sungai wang lah. The RM850 value pack really cheap. But she force u to buy either UMD or MSPD. You find lah... if not mistaken, third floor in front of the escalator.

The PSP box you're talking about is called PGP (PlayGear Pocket)..
It makes the PSP super fat, bigger than it already is...

I don't think it's necessary. Plus it's like RM200, not cheap.
I am using the pouch i got from the value pack and it's good.

But i think it depends on individuals. I don't use those plactic cover thingy for my phone too. So i don't find it necessary to buy PGP.
If you like to cover things (and ur phone), then get the PGP.

Hori Screen protector is RM20. Make sure They give you the wiping cloth when you buy it. And please ask them to install the screen protector for you. It's harder to do it urself.

For RM200, i would suggest you go buy 2GB Sony MSPD. Better than buying stupid PGP.

No, downgrading is not safe. There is a risk of bricking your PSP.
Brick is literally what you PSP will turn into if you screw up ur downgrading.

I would advise you to buy a 1.5 instead.

For 50 bucks, i suggest you get Martin Fields Overlay Protector.

There IS risk of bricking PSP when you downgrade, dare you say i'm wrong??

I know my PSP is not 1.5 original... i am willing to pay like RM100 extra to buy 1.5, better than screwing up and ending up with a stylish paperweight.

Just because you got experience in downgrading, doesn't mean others have the experience you possess.

Malaysians are getting overly obssesed with "original".
It doesn't matter whether it's original 1.5 or downgraded 1.5.
Software is software, as long as the version is the same, it will perform the same.

The only difference is that original 1.5 might have a cleaner system than downgraded 1.5.
But this can be solved by upgrading it to 2.0 and downgrading it back to 1.5.
