i want to buy 1 psp......budget RM600

i just bought my psp value pack from singapore airport. $gd 313 . version 3.10.. how to flash it to 3.4 oe-a?? and the value pack doesnt comes with USB cable?!?!

Sg Wang got one shop at Grd floor selling for RM600 but nothing in it no memory card, no UMD games... I think quite worth it.

Just get that and a simple original UMD somewhere else or second hand first then play a while till bored then get memory stick to play other games good for budget also

I asked at Wega Enterprise, Sg Wang only yesterday 17/07/2007.

PSP with 4GB Memory Stick is RM850. I think its dirt cheap cause in C-Zone price list, I see the 4GB memory stick alone is RM399.

I am worried about being scammed and all so I would like to ask all the pros here, is this genuine? What's the catch?

do not the 4gb memory stick is normal speed
some games required high speed memory stick to process the game video from the memory stick (lagless)

Can you tell me which memory stick did they give you? Was it Sony or Sandisk? Sandisk Memory Stick Duo Pro is it?

But overall its good no problems with it just need to find a demo umd for the games sigh.... cos not all game (non ori-downloaded can play without demo disk)

Just now went to Atria and ask for the PSP price, the standard pack with version 3.40 is RM899... Not inclusive of Memory Stick and headset... Blardy expensive...

I will go down to Sg. Wang to check it out...

Oh yea i dunno whats the difference but those unit sold at Wega is made from China, they claim now psp is manufactured there no longer at Japan

Sony Memory Stick? Shouldn't that be a good product? I believe its better than Sandisk, is it not? Are there different speeds in Memory Stick? I do not know. May somebody enlighten me bout Memory Stick speed?

I just called my buddy in Singapore and she told me that she recently bought a new PSP (pink). Her husband has one (black) for SGD$440 with modded firmware, a UMD game and everything else. She bought hers without the UMD for SGD$350. That's like RM770. I am thinking of asking her to buy me one this week and pass it to my other friend when he comes back this weekend. PRoblem now is I cannot decide on the color


Which do you think is a good color?
Black - common and original
White - fast dirty I was told
Pink - for ladies
Blue - the color and the symbols on the buttons are too alike, look almost imitation
Gold - looks cool but gold are sort of ahpek
Silver - Looks pretty good too

I am eyeing on Gold, Silver or Black but I couldnt decide.


Yea, seems like it. I think its overpriced. Try to make a trip to Sg. Wang and you probably save up on tons.




By the way,
Firmware 1.50 and Firmware 3.40. What's the difference? I have heard from my friend in Singapore that 1.50 does not need UMD in the compartment, meanwhile 3.40 needs to have the UMD stored in your PSP (sort of like to bluff your machine as though you are playing from UMD but in actual fact, you are loading via Memory Stick).

Can someone clarify my confusion?

I heard SGD250+ can get a psp already, is it true? anyone herad b4? How is the package? I heard it from my sis and she is a psp noob, so she didn't know about the package...

again, 4gb ORIGINAL is around rm399 like what you posted lah but those sg wang "original" 4gb isnt genuine lah and please take note those fake 4gb mspd very the slow transfer speed
