how differerent is this game compare to other card game like Million arthur/guardian cross?
Aside from the "paid to get items/cards"?

After played VC for 1 week plus, i'll just voice out my difference.

System Wise
---------------
VC has the resources(gold, ether, and iron) planning but i appears to lack storyline(to elaborate the specific card) for it.

Million Arthur has proper storyline and events to cover. But the system covers AP(action point) for moving in area(In vc its vitality) and BP(Battle Point) for the cost that ur card could hold and use in battle.
As in this image, you see the Green is AP, and Red bar is the BP. This is an instance Arch witch in VC.

Post battle will reward the card by chance. This card is Cat Sith.

MA has 4 rows of card to hold, and each row can hold up to 3 cards.

Max card you could keep is 200 and recently they added storage another 300.
From time to time, they held a Colosseum battle event.


Both VC and MA has summon card system. MA calls it Gacha ticket (as in gachapon in japan) and additional MC(a type of currency which uses real cash to purchase). 100MC = 100 Japan Yen.
Normal cards are summon using Friendship points as both VC and MA shares the same.

Card wise
------------
As for VC, the level reset everytime u evolve a card but u keep the recruited(iinm).
Art is based on each possible occupation/creature possible u name it but the art itself is more like westerned art.

For MA, the art is more high quality famous artist art. Card will evolve when it hits the max level of the card when u get it and level cap can be burst at high as 100.

in addition to that, they had holographic version of card as well as better collaboration with other anime/game titles as well as seasonal like the video below in the spoiler.

i start playing it when it was launched for PS Vita.
