I just started my new game as Man United. I have some question though..

1) I realized that quite a number of players actually can sell away. Of course I will definitely sell young as the wages is really too high. I have problem selling Ferdinand though..... Do you guys sell him away for xtra wages?

2) Currently I'm not sure which player I need to buy to strengthen my team, currently those players that i confirm buy is David Alaba and veratti. Any other advice on this?

3) Do you guys actually sack all the staff in the team? For example, phil neville, assistant manager etc? Cause it seems like all their stats are so so only.

So far the BPL and ECL (qualified) are still ok, now reached December schedule. Need to face Chelsea before reaching the semi final League cup.

I'm having problem with the tactics, it seems like I almost reaching new year, but my tactic familiarity is still not reaching to its max. ( almost but not full ). And my tactics tend to use winger more than AMC. ( My Rooney only score 2 goals in like 13 matches. , but RVP score like hell due to penalty kicker ).

Anyone can recommend me any tactics? I checked the previous page like Calamity etc, but it seems like I can't find the page which allow me to download. Anyone can share the links? Thanks!!!

1) If my memory serves me correct, its around 12M. I will get back to you after work. But I remember it doesn't cost that much.
2) I did use tactic training during pre season, then all the way set as attacking movement. Do I need to schedule anything for that? Any recommendation for the resting before and after match as well as general training scroll bar?

Planning to throw Ferdinand and Giggs and sell Evra, Nani, Valencia and Vidic for some cost next season. And get Doria as his price now dropped to 10mil only. Will perform staff cleaning including throwing Steve Round and other staff, and get AC Milan Assistant Manager. Found a overall striker ( forgot his name ) But currently injured for 5 months , not sure whether it will affect his stats growing or not....

1) I have to admit, de sciglio is not reaching his best yet in my team. He is still shadowing behind Evra and Rafael. But he's indeed a great backup for both of them as he can play both wing. Will attempt to sell Buttner after he returned from loan and plan to get Luke Shaw.

2) my general training now is balanced with high. The other side I will put tactic then, but not sure how am I going to move the bar in the general training, more or less?

I need to get a first team left back, as I plan to sell Evra anyway. Fabio has issue with defending, though he play as winger is better than fullback. .
Sciglio is mainly for right back purpose due to right foot and also his natural position is Right Back. So plan to get Luke Shaw, though I have Jonathan Silva, but he's still greening and I will continue to affiliate him out for more experience.

For the tactic, yeah I will just follow the assistants. Now I realized why I have so many injuries. But then as for now I'm lucky that I am still able to cover those injuries. But because I didn't buy any midfielder, and my director of football has loan my cleverly out ( Forgot to remove the loan status ). And Fletcher is injured since started of the game, I left only Carrick and Fellani. Though I still have Phil Jones to backup Fellani, but Carrick.... And now Fletcher is back but I still need one more midfielder as I plan to develop a good midfielder before carrick retired. Now current target is Verratti.

Kagawa is currently rotate between left wing and AMC position, cause I have Iker Muinian on the left wing. and AMC I have Rooney and Jadnu. No issue with the winger at the moment, but would like to strengthen this position by selling valencia and nani and get two hot prospect winger. Plan to continue use Zaha and I feel he really has the potential to attack. Plan to get Doria in as I wan to put Phil Jones in DM position and evans and smalling is still not good enough to fit into first team.

One last thing, planning my top scorer, RVP for good price at next season, worth it?

False Nine... Nice, that's what Rooney good at. But then RVP may have issue becoming F9. Do you have any other tactic to recommend? It seems like I cant find any tactic with 3 strikers, I read the forum that midfielder now is much powerful than striker in FM2014.

I've checked already I spend 10.25M on De Sciglio.

I have just reached Feb with Man United and here is my thought.

1) De Sciglio does not make any good impact to the match, instead he tends to lose the ball easily.
2) Should have bought a midfielder starting of the game as right now my midfielder is really !@#$#!# in everywhere. XD
3) RVP scores 22 goals in 23 matches, but Rooney only score 2 goals in 16 matches.
4) Valencia really doesn't know how to shot on target, always shoot all up high. Cost alot of chances.
5) Iker Muniain is still not fast enough to run through opponent.
6) Balanta is really awesome. I almost throw Vidic to sub ever since he joins.
7) Bought Stancu but doesn't have WP, Cannot user him until 3 to 4 years later.
8) Seriously wanna throw Ferdinand, Evra and Giggs away due to the wages but no one wans Ferdinand and Giggs.....
9) Calamity though is a good tactic, but I don't have so much of midfielder in the team.

Seriously might wanna try to create new game using calamity since the beginning, the one that i mentioned before doesn't look like a good tactic to me.

Ehh... I thought Kagawa can only play as AM position? MC can play? or need to retrain him? I accidentally loan cleverly out . Giggs... is too slow for me. So left jones , fletcher, carrick and afro. Should be fine. I only worry carrick's fitness as he will get jaded easily.

For the loan to feeder club. How will he need to get the work permit? 1 year? 2 years? Cause Stancu is already 20 years old. I worry Antwerp might not have best training facilities to train him well.

Haha, sure. But it seems like I can only free transfer Evra after contract ends. Ferdinand already request transfer @_@. Giggs is still quiet. lol

Then no choice have to wait 2 years then, but I seriously need a good winger. Those top wingers are very costly, like lucas moura, shaaray etc. Any other recommendation?

For the Honda, how come in the beginning of the game I need to pay transfer fees to get Honda, I thought is free?? I think he can be a good temporary solution to cover my midfielder.

I just realized that the installment method doesn't work in this FM2014 whereby last time we can just use installment method so that the transfer fees didn't actually minus the entire lum sum. It seems like I can only purchase 3 players now with that amount of transfer budget.

I only manage to buy Veratti, Sciglo and Stancu on my second save game. No money to get Doria and Balanta. Hope nobody will buy them.....

Is it possible to loan them out first? So that I can secure them without letting them go???

Why does Totternham Hotspurs go very strong in my game.... 6 games straight win and I only managed to get a draw against it ( Man United away ). That Erik Lamela is really strong... his pace and dribbling is killing my match @_@. Does he cost alot to get him?

Note sure whether I can upset him by declaring interest or not. I don't think Tottenham will let him go so easily.

Stanciu is now in Antwerp, and he scored in madness there.... So hope he can come back earlier.... Will get the winger that you suggest, but i also need to have one more winger after sell Valencia and Nani, cause later I just left Kagawa and Zaha...... ( or maybe Rooney can cover ).

Has anyone sell RVP on second season? Though he's a top scorer right now with 10 goals in 9 games, but due to his age, I would like to sell him the next season. Roughly how much I can get after selling him and mostly who will be the person to buy him? I know Real Madrid will definitely look for him haha
