 [quick] PC DVDRW on a G4, is it possible?

hello everyone, my dad has a G4 and he needs a DVDRW. is it possible for me to get him an internal DVDRW for his G4? or MUST i use an external drive?

yep its possible , you need to get PatchBurner , do a search in google or in this forum..Its possible biggrin.gif

Just get Toast Titanium, most burner in the market are supported.
Im using plextor dvd burner on my G4.

errrrmmmmmmmmm from the results by uncle google, im assuming these 2 are software [ie. nero equavilant] for OSX?

question: doesnt OSX have its own software built in>

Yep it has its own Bulit-in Burning software

http://www.patchburn.de/ <-- you would need to download as it would install the right drivers for your Burner so , it would be supported Under OSX !

nope there shouldnt be any problem, even the powermac G5 uses pioneer as OEM drive wink.gif
