Here is my another modding story, even tho i have start this modding story for few years dy. I still think its the best to start a thread, wanna share & ask for recommendation from our fellow modders.

Cutted the side panel but have not installed the acrylic yet..



Still thinkin, shall i cut it bigger or just let it be like that??

Decide to enlarge the window panel size & & remove curve on window edge.



Cut a hole for PCIE connector :



Credit to topazzatech for PCIE connector & Sleeve material. 24pin sleeve from MDPC, bought from clawhammer a few decades ago...



add up some CCFL from my drawer, heheh not sure frm where, been there since ages... now my pc looks like a fun fare!!!

really like the simplicity design,
wonder y coolermaster dint make full aluminum cases anymore..
not after ATCS 840 and stacker,
btw bro now ur both side panel got window ah?

Yup! both side got side panel, a little fugly on this side with all the cable crawling here & there..... gonna spray the acrylic to black & change the acrylic to black mesh later...



Not sure why CM not producing alu case anymore... Mayb they prefer to produce casing with low cost & easy to sell.. profit!!!

I demand Twin Dragon grill to replace that CM logo...!!!

Do not spray it bro....sleeve the cable, manage it nicely.... and SHOW-OFF time!

Fittings

its a normal compression fitting (1/2 id & 3/4 od) with acrylic tube ..

looks nice huh!!!

Problem : Normal compression fitting is design for pvc flexible tube, will not hold acrylic tube


Solution :


lol.. didn't realized the words on the pictar is too small .. box on the left written "Three O ring will be placed here" & on the right "This is normal pvc tube attached to the acrylic tube (normal PVC tube will be compressed & stick to the acrylic tube once the screw is fitted).

First time bending an acrylic.. it was hard as i tot..
My tools for bending acrylic was gas stove for heat source, multipurpose tube (replacing silicon rod).

leak test in progress. only apply the acrylic from radiator to reservoir to test. As for now, already run for 6 hours with no leak..

Here some update on my project, sorry didnt capture the process :

1. fit a koolance pump top onto my pump with acrylic tube.

2. carving a lil "design" on mobo tray (im outta carving bits, continue carving the mobo tray with cutting disk, result is nt very nice )

3. fitted acrylic tube from rad to cpu block.

4. rearrange the 24 pin hole on mobo tray.

Put it on the casing floor facing upward...

hehe on the casing floor is a bit messy currently . am positioning the led on a few angle to see which is the best spot for the led's.
below pictar was taken with led's fitted on the back of the casing.




in mean time i re-position the ROG logo on mobo SB heatsink



& got myself a pair of Ram with led's.
