QUOTE(David83 @ Feb 15 2014, 06:12 PM) Can #1 be used for buying beverages only? My friend said that it needs to be accompanied with food such as cakes, donuts and etc. Used #1 for beverage only.

Hi all, I would like to confirm sth.
Today for the first time I tried to purchase an anniversary tumbler @Rm33 with 2 RM20 starbucks card. Told the barista to split the bill i.e. RM16.50 on each card. Unfortunately I was told that this is NOT possible. They can only clear the first card first i.e. RM20, then the balance of RM13 will be charged to the 2nd card.
Anyone tried splitting the bill as I suggested? Is it possible?

But i read in earlier posts that it is possible to charge RM1 to the card, then pay the rest via cash or credit card. On the same note, i would have thought it is possible to charge RM11.50 to one card and then another Rm11.50 to the other, right?

You can do whatever fashion you like as long as the cashier is OK with it and the queue behind is not gazing at you.
