One thing for me in using Android device is root access. Without it, you are like paying rental for a house where you have no control in it

Edit: Downloading now, later just think wanna root or not, it is 1.16GB, needs 23 mins to complete. Means this is pre-root ROM actually...

Edit2: Is the 1.16GB ROM a must to flash? Did anyone try just direct skip this and go ahead with root? Is it working?

Thanks for confirmation. Appreciate much. Basically this ROM still is Odexed ROM right? I think not so important as most can customize now with Xposed Framework right.

CWM will trigger the KNOX right, I don't want that.

Guys, just a word of caution. My note 3 somehow manage to have water seep through into it (was using one of those bumper case). Most likely it was caused by the wet hands of my friends at the beach - taking photos etc. Only realise this after feedback from the service center. It could be turned on but the screen is not, only sound. The worst part is that the bill came to RM1,679.50. Should have just bought a new one.

Correct. ..but you can now use CWM and flash custom rom or any moddings available 

No need wipe, so far I didn't wipe and didn't encounter any FC yet. Touch Wood.
If not wrong I think still cannot, once install CWM and install custom ROM, the KNOX will get trigger.

What I notice is base on report at XDA, seems Samsung don't care much on Exynos Edition, as Exynos edition won't trigger the KNOX even root via CF-Root.

Thanks, where should I slit in this step?

1) Remove SD Card
2) Switch off phone
3) Go into download mode
4) Run PC Odin, put in .tar file into AP, click start
5) After completed, copy the contents of Root_de_la_Vega.zip to the root of the internal sdcard
6) Reboot
7) Delete the files that just copied to internal SD card
8) Reboot
9) Reinsert SD card

I don't know.
That's my question, when should I flash CSC?
