I really need your help here... I bought Note 3 today, charged the battery, but:

1) when I connect it to my PC, Kies said it cannot connect to this phone, I need Kies 3, so I downloaded and installed, but when Kies 3 said I need to to upgrade firmware, I proceeded... After Kies 3 said "downloading firmware upgrade components", nothing happen!?!? Tried disabled Anti Virus, still the same.

2) how do I transfer all my old data from S3 to Note 3?
I want to transfer my SMS, WhatsApp chats and WeChat chat history, is this possible?

I'm not even dare to insert my SIM card into Note 3 yet
But went through power up first setup screen, I saw Google downloaded quite a number of Apps I got in my S3 to this new phone, not sure if this is ok?

Please help...!

For Kies, I think the maintenance on Samsung server was the culprit
But to answer your question, yes I restarted my PC many times also the same.

I want to buy Samsung's S-View Cover, but I just realized not all version comes with wireless charging capability?

The seller said S-View Cover with wireless charging is RM299 and only available this November?
Is this correct?

By the way, just to point out, Note 3 camera have greater shutter-lag than S3, my previous S3 virtually no lag, why like that?

Hi Andrew, thank you and you are so right, this Smart stabilisation was indeed the culprit.
Because Smart stabilisation was set to ON by default and I have no idea what is that so just leave it at ON.
This must be the Low light mode in S3?

By the way, I can select Macro in S3, but cannot find it in Note 3, is the camera will switch to Macro mode automatically?

I do realized the picture quality of Note 3 is very good, at least I find it better than S3.

I can't remember what I did, but I had a few times when pressing the Home button (middle button on the phone), instead of bring me back to home, it ask me if I want to use TouchWiz Home or TouchWiz Easy, then I need to choose TouchWiz Home and select "Always", why like that? Is this a bug? I never install any launcher and the phone is not rooted.

In fact, I did some search on Google before ask here as I can't find the answer yet. Maybe I don't know the correct term to search for...

I never use Galaxy Note 2 before, but saw a lot of video regarding S Note, we can roughly draw a circle or square then it automatically converted to a perfect circle or perfect square. Also, we can write on screen and S Note will immediately convert our hand writing into text. Where and how can I get these functions in Note 3?

Thank you joytest, using the left-most button only allow me to write on the note, but can't convert hand writing to text.

Yup! Thanks destEX, just tried it and found out we have to manually circle it (select) and choose to convert to shape or text.

Another thing about Action Memo, when we write something and use "Link to action" button to send our writing to SMS or Email etc... our writing then automatically entered into address field. I would think this is a bug and it should not work this way.

Lastly, anyone have information on the release date of original S-View Cover with Qi Wireless charging capability? I saw it on YouTube video, but only later realised it is not available here yet.
