Just now I was telling my sister, "Yeah, Note 3 can root already." She said, "You still dare to root ah, forgot what happened to your Note II?" tongue.gif

Her Note II was also rooted by me on the first day she bought it and straight installed custom ROM. tongue.gif

One thing for me in using Android device is root access. Without it, you are like paying rental for a house where you have no control in it

Good that your sister understand what root is. My friend even ask me will root make your device lag. He thought it apply to iOS jailbreak which cause the lag. Lol

True for the freedom but in reality LYP SC did reject my Note II before because of rooted. laugh.gif

IF u want the latest , in terms of model and spec , have the extra cash , why not upgrade . IF u r happy with your Note 2 , finds it more then enough for your daily usage , dont bother . New models from Samsung will be popping up soon like the Galaxy Curve although it's still for Korea release only for now . Unlike Note 1 to Note 2 , there isn't a huge difference between Note 2 and Note 3 . With the Note 2 having 4.3 update soon , some or most of the features will be available to Note 2 as well , maybe even Knox tongue.gif

Wireless version is not out yet.

I don't see any shutter lag, it is the fastest I ever use in phone camera. If you had enabled smart stabilisation, you may turn it off, this features only useful for night shot or dark light shot and it take times to process.

Hi Andrew, thank you and you are so right, this Smart stabilisation was indeed the culprit.
Because Smart stabilisation was set to ON by default and I have no idea what is that so just leave it at ON.
This must be the Low light mode in S3?

By the way, I can select Macro in S3, but cannot find it in Note 3, is the camera will switch to Macro mode automatically?

I do realized the picture quality of Note 3 is very good, at least I find it better than S3. biggrin.gif

Damn.. Now got into bootloop after installing wanam and enabling the fake status..

Help! sad.gif

Update :
-Re do Odin without the root features. It went back to official without root, thus automatically disable the Xposed app(require root).
-Remove Xposed + Wanam
-Re root again.

Phew.. sweat.gif

So, those who have tried removing the custom status by using Xposed + Wanam fake status have no bootloop issues is it?
Weird, why mine does. hmm.gif

Why yours will ended into bootloop? What have you done?

After rooted, I download the Xposed framework from XDA, then install Wanam framework then reboot. After that customize and enable the settings that I want and reboot and phone running without issue.

I guess for Note 3 I can stick with stock rooted ROM at the time being. I have root + xposed + wanam + titanium backup pro + ad away + pen window mod (enable all apps for pen window) + multiwindow manager (enable all apps for multiwindow) = good enough for my daily usage

99 % of what you wrote is copy and paste stuff from elsewhere. I was expecting something different since you seems so proud to post about it
And seriously you need to improve your written English - so grammatically poor and incorrect. It is alright to post in forums but in a blog ...??? .

duh... sweat.gif just wanna share it only
and grammatically very bad (for me la nod.gif)

but i written the post, didn't proud it also because i'm newbie from bloggers , uncle... ...

Anyone can upload me the Xposed Framework? cnt get in xda cry.gif thx

Seriously did you even bother to search for it. Just type forum XDA xposed framework or xposed framework forum XDA n straight away you will see right top of the list is the XDA Web page on it
Download n install wanam xposed from play store
Run the Xposed Framework apk n select Wanam as mod
Restart phone n you can than customise whatever you wish
I am not going to point to you the link as is darn freaking easy to find n spoofeed in directly to mouth is something I will never do
Go search for it

Xposed framework can be tricky at times ending up with bootloop and needing a fresh flash from odin. Just try it again. tongue.gif
