Hi all I'm prepping V9 tonight, and will activate when v8 hits 2500 thereabouts. I'm doing this coz I will be a bit tied up in the day time.
Do not post in v9 yet, I'm prepping and will lock it after I'm done. |

In support of what antt00 and a few others said, samsung stock rom on the note phablets are streamlined and tweaked already and now note in its 3rd generation is really convenient for many functions especially s pen use.
All we really need is root access. Samsung should allow rooting with no penalty. Custom roms are quite a different matter and it can lead to problems because most drivers are proprietary on all mobile platforms. Root + xposed framework is plenty good for self tweaking and enhancements. Now if only manufacturers could provide a backup nandroid function in stock recovery will be perfect. Much like what most pc makers provide for a recovery partition or some app that backs up your stuff before a wipe. |
