Currently very enjoy the tablet. Not having any issue. Occasional got chrome stop responding though. Hmmm... Other than that, its a great device! (didnt play any game on it, just use it for surfing and ebook reading)

yeah... luckily not into gaming on tablet, prefer to do it manly on desktop. 
So smooth using it, beautiful screen, make me so frustrate using samsung tab 3 10.1 (the old version) after that.    LOL

few reasons:
- firstly it's called custom ROM not custom firmware
- allow you to do backups + data using root only software such as titanium backup or mybackup or helium
- allow you to use some root only apps (such as stickmount, flashify, xposed + gravity box etc)
- give you full access to your filesystem allowing you to install custom boot animations, use custom kernels (which is often faster than stock kernel + allows you to overclock), etc
- be part of the l33t group of users who know how to use their android device to the max potential

I'm using CM11 on my N7. Rooted and set DPI to 240. Very high res now. Unfortunately, every now and then, tablet well reboot itself. I guess CM11 still unstable.

Y would you need to? I mean tat tab is fast enough even at stock speed 

I using the glitch kernel for now,but i set max to 1.3ghz..since im more paranoid in saving every last juice of my battery 

Found a way to work it out. Add a USSD code to a new contact. Click the call no on the contact and it's running.
B4 that you have to flash SMS mod for it to work

use volume+

Guys, sorry if this question has been asked before but I really need to fix it quick so I can check my company email during after work time.

My 3 months Nexus 7 2013 LTE screen broken, I think only the glass is broken but the display is still good. Do you know where shop around Ampang Park that can replace the screen?

Went to Asus SC at Lowyat Plaza and they cost RM700 and the early I can get it back in 1 week to 30 days. But it also depend on the stock availability which they are currently dont have any ATM. They also suggest to go for third party shop to replace the screen (or are they lazy to do it?).

With that price I am thinking of selling that Nexus 7 and get a WiFi unit which cost the same as the glass screen replacement.

Any idea?
