unclebenny i am on the command prompt, i thye adb devices and it shows device attach but didnt show serial number.

my usb debugging is on. when i type adb reboot bootloader it say device not found. any step mistake?

found my problem its the driver..all working till the last step when adb sideload the file in, the driver not working again.
bro u on win 8.1 had this problem?

guys..this is my step of flash and update 4.4.

1. download sdk android.
2. download kit kat file.
3. plug in nexus 7, and load in driver. type adb devices and devices found.
4. adb reboot bootloader. set goes into bootloader and i press recovery mode.

when i press the load in file step my computer cannot find back the driver. . tried with another computer. same thing. the last step the driver missing.

any step i miss out?

yup.. i did press apply update via adb..only after i press this the driver missing. tried on another notebook also same thing. hmmmm

That just the driver problem itself, mostly this problem will occur when using the Windows 8/8.1 since they divide the adb driver into two different part (one is the device is turn on and the name is "device" in adb device; another one is when it is on sideload mode and the name is "sideload" in adb device)
so the solution is after goes into the "apply update via ADB", install one more time the adb driver in the computer then it's done

saw 2 nexus 7 thread..lol taught i was on new thread.

anyway after 3 days on n7..i can say is Great. better than experia z i use previous. Sony throws in many apps that i dont use.
