planning to buy nexus 7 2013. but i heard that there will be nexus 8 (rumours)

i think 8" will be a perfect screen size. i m affraid that if i buy the n7 now.. i will regret later if the rumours 8" nexus turn out to be true..

i still remember the raised/lifted screen issue with the 1st nexus 7. everybody was complaining the same issue. my unit also had that defect.. i was so worried when i read few n7 screen cracked because of the lifted screen. but, after a year of using my n7.. the screen is still in good condition.

i'm planning to buy the new nexus7 next week. how to check the touchscreen problem?.. i tried few nexus7 demo sets at lowyat plaza, but i dont find any problem with the screen.

Just bought nexus 7 2013 from my friend. Tested the screen with YAMTT..no multitouch issue, no ghost touch.. even the paint test also no problem. But sometime the screen not responding to touch. But when i try to test with YAMTT no screen problem detected.

8" is the perfect size for a tablet for me.
i hope they have a 32gb storage version.

i think the touchscreen issue wont effect daily usage much..
i used to owned nexus 7 2013.. i dont have problem with the touch screen except occational undetected touch.
even my ipad mini retina sometime need to touch few times.

i want a larger screen (but not 10" large). nexus7 7" with 16:9 ratio was too small for browsing internet.
when typing in landscape mode.. 1/2 screen taken by keyboard.

but i agree.. i think nexus 7 2013 is a better tablet than ipad mini. maybe because i'm so used to android.

Since no wifi 32gb version in malaysia. Go for lte 32gb. 16gb is not enough if u r planning to download newer games.
