crap then i guess i best bet is to reflash 4.3, root and then only flash 4.4. Thanks for your help

Hi there i got my unit since the end of September
Mine is 32GB wifi only.
This is the first time i come here lol
Btw i am studying at taiwan now so i bought it at taiwan around rm999
I think there is no differences between taiwan and malaysia version right ?

most likely there is some modification to your /system partition. you can flash the factory image of 4.3 for the /system only. this way, your data and apps would be intact. then just use TWRP to sideload it again.

I can't test it out now, since mine is an LTE version, but that is how i did it on my N4, when i was still using stock. it should work the same on N7

I flash this stock Kit Kat from XDA.. So far so good... tongue.gif

After that install this Google experience launcher

Goole Expeience Launcher

I miss the full screen experience during watching movies sad.gif Any idea to make it full screen during playback?

Yes for now, hopefully Google is going to release the Google Experience Launcher to Google Play Store soon so everyone can get it from there.

I remember watching a video by just pulling down taskbars will get you full screen view n pull down again to show status bar

What video player you are using now? I tried MX Player and stock video player, both also full screen for me. And this is the first time I use MX Player to watch movie after updated to 4.4, so there is also a blue notification on the top to notify me swipe down to show the status and navigation bar.

Nope it's not working.. I think it's only works with certain Google apps..

Sorry, what I mean is the navigation bar will be hidden... I miss full screen with pie control in PA sad.gif

you still need to install GEL urself, just now try ady...
but after install all the things , now we get fully working GEL with latest Google search

the roll out is completely random, not by region. if yours is wifi unit, you can already sideload the update, instead of waiting tongue.gif

Isn't it easier to use recovery mode to flash the update zip instead of sideloading?

yeap uncle benny, that is what i meant actually. put the zip in your device and flash it like a rom, then reflash supersu. profit! rclxms.gif
