QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Oct 14 2013, 05:58 PM) That is aroma installer to let you choose the max CPU/GPU settings, tweaks etc, after you flashed it, you can use Trickster Mod(find in Google Play) to modify the kernel settings, i.e. if you set max CPU clock speed is 1944MHz in the aroma installer during the flashing process, but you find that its too power consuming and wanted to lower the clock speed, Trickster Mod can do this without having to flash the kernel again in recovery mode. terence, u really rock me high...thks bro. Ok, today i have done so many things with my nexus...just curious, what tweak or zip i can do more? But if you have clock speed set at i.e. 1512MHz(stock) during the installation but you want to overclock it to 1944MHz, then you need to reflash the kernel again and choose highest clock speed as 1944MHz. Same goes to the other tweaks like "Disable magnetic on/off", initially you switched it off during the installation but you want to enable it, you need to reflash the kernel again as Trickster Mod is unable to change this internal setting. Reflashing a kernel is totally safe and no need to perform any data wiping, but if you find that it is not stable after flashing it such as random reboot then you might need to check if you have done something wrong like undervolting the CPU etc. Is there any custom rom can enable calling function? This would be great if have... |

I also use tibackup to uninstall unwanted gapss like Google search, google+...I also don't have any auto sync app...can't think what else I can do...install better battery stat & the wakelocks seem pretty normal. QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 15 2013, 01:15 PM) Nothing strange with good control. One guy even say is impossible to be even 5% as probably he did not put in some effort to improve it Is possible to be at 5% with whatsapp & go SMS pro running in background. I achieved it this morning. I believe if I uninstall these 2 apps my battery drain will surely reduced. But I need both app ATM. |
