As per attached, my house's meter adapter (I saw the appointed electrician by the developer installed it during the commissioning of the electricity to my unit). Now it is gone. How much does this thing cost?

The meter is installed right at the pillar and locked (and of course can be unlocked easily).

I saw 63A at the DB box so I assume that one is 63A? What is it called? I think I will report to the developer handover office to give them alarm on the theft... I seriously dont think TNB will need to remove this. I saw tampered key hole mark...

It is very bad I think. Most probably the workers around took it away. It is gated and guarded. It is still a pretty new development and most owner just took keys early this year...

Pretty common thing. Can get at any electrical shop. Just snap a picture and show it to the shop.

Thanks man. It is a relief that this adapter can be sourced easily... I was worried that I had to be chopped deep deep by TNB...

No TNB didnt take it, it was stolen.

Lucky it was only that item stolen, often the theives take everything.

By the way, how easy it is to install and remove this thing? Wont get shocked at all?

Please be careful when you plug in the fuse, live current. Before you plug in that fuse, I suggest you make a marking, previously I had mine marked and when it was stolen, I traced it to my new neighbor.

Brought a baseball bat to confront him.

I will do the marking too... Dunno which workers here or owners here stole it. But I think I will try at the developer office first to demand a replacement since it was stolen in the first year with their own appointed security company.

1 side of the copper contact is LIVE. So becarfull not to touch it.

If your hand shaking, than pay some fee for the shop guy to help you.

By the way, any idea how much this thing cost?

This is called 63A cutout fuse(common electrician term). I think your brand is PLK, which is approved by TNB. These things get stolen all the time. There is copper inside, so thieves will just sell as scrap. But get the developer to replace one since still under 1yr.
*
May I know where I can actually find it? I went to a few shops and all of them are selling old type big one... Mine is measured at 8cm x 4cm... Eventually I went to TNB and reported for the missing fuse.

In JB, there are a lot of electrical shops in Johor Jaya. You can go to one shop in Bakawali, PS Electrical, I think they should have. There are many other shops there who carries the PLK brand. But I still think you should go to the management and ask them exactly which brand/model, then ask them if they still have. If not then you can go get it from the shops.

But when you install it, make sure you fit in carefully, sparking may occurs if your hands are "shaky", but no need to worry as long as you are careful. Just make sure you are wearing a thick rubber sole for protection. But if the management has an electrician to help you, then please ask them to help.
*
Yo bro, so you can confirm the brand is PLK, slim one measured at 8.4cm x 4cm (holder dimension, so the fuse should be smaller a bit).

Is this the shop? P. S. Electric Trading@ 9 & 11, Jalan Bakawali 50, Taman Johor Jaya, Johor Bahru, 81100, Johor Bahru, Johor.

It's not easy to change the whole casing, you need a TNB guy to do it, or any electrician. This is live wire, so you may not be able to handle it. Wait for TNB, just give him some kopi duit, he will kau-tim for you.

I am looking for a simple fix - which is to plug in just that cut-off fuse.

TNB has not called me yet sad.gif Perhaps it is due to Public Holiday? Having said that, if I were staying in the house, I could be about 24 hours (since the reporting) living without electricity...

I used live chat earlier with TNB and the response is almost immediate. TNB guy replaced for me with a new one. This unit is with a handle. Anyway, I do get another spare from him just in case. After all, I think getting TNB to replace is faster and cheaper. RM 10-15 per fuse which will be charged to the electricity bill versus buying a new one from the electrical shop.

LoL!
