QUOTE(PsychoJoe @ May 3 2016, 10:04 PM) Had similar problems (can't use the card online), called CS and they told me they're experiencing some issues (no OTP etc). Asked me to wait till tomorrow to try again. I swiped the physical card. Declined twice, ended up paying cash. Why oh why? This post has been edited by kelvinlzy: May 3 2016, 10:51 PM |

Received SMS transaction alert on my second swipe of RM29. Not sure what is the minimum amount but definitely not RM250.
Edit: Subsequent swipes also received SMS alerts This post has been edited by kelvinlzy: May 8 2016, 10:10 PM |

QUOTE(noien @ May 13 2016, 10:51 AM) for scb just one platinum. IINM, the rebate isfor petrol transactions only. Retail spending is to help you increase your tier of rebate for petrol.i read the tnc, when u spend in retail or others it is more than RM500 , Rm800 and RM1000 u can only get petrol rebate and no other cash rebate? for eg, i spend rm1000 this month. i will only get rebate if i pump petrol? |

QUOTE(LNYC @ May 19 2016, 09:27 AM) Ya, I m intended to do so. But upon checking with SCB CS, the cash rebate only valid with min spending of rm500. Yes correct. There are 3 tiers of rebate:I hope I give the wrong infor... 1. Min RM500, rebate is 2%, capped at RM10 2. Min RM800, rebate is 3%, capped at RM25 3. Min RM1500, rebate is 5%, capped at RM50 |

QUOTE(asiatrader98 @ May 19 2016, 10:05 AM) It is a great card, but it is not free for life nor 12 swipes per year to waive it off. If you do a quick search here, you will notice that most of the card holders got it waived easily with just a call to CS. |

QUOTE(asiatrader98 @ May 19 2016, 09:59 AM) Correction. It's 0.3%. 0.03% is too little. QUOTE(sj0217 @ May 19 2016, 01:40 PM) No idea why SCB send two alerts when use the card more than RM3xx. You must have ticked the email alert option. Untick it under manage my alert selection.I have used for two times and received SMS alert as well as Email alert too while others Banks that I used only received SMS alert |

QUOTE(edwardccg @ May 23 2016, 04:47 PM) I register for the SMS transaction alert but there is no option for me to select threshold. I remember from few post in front mention we cannot set to RM1, is that true? then what is the minimum? Although you can set it to a minimum of RM250 in the online banking, I still receive SMS alerts whenever I have transactions below RM250. |

QUOTE(edwardccg @ May 23 2016, 08:24 PM) found the setting for threshold and set to rm250. For the linkage to paypal, you will sure to receive the SMS. As for the IWK payment, you wont receive any SMS alert as you have already received the TAC during the payment. This will serve as your SMS tranx alert in case you didnt request for the payment.the default was RM1000 but I received sms on the USD $1 charged during linking to paypal also my purchase in 400++ via paypal able to receive sms in previous RM1000 threshold setting. The only thing i didnt received sms is the IWK payment via SCB website. btw, the cashback is based on calendar month, right? which mean i spend minimum 500 by May 31 i will get at least the 2% cashback, right? By calendar month, correct. |
