How come I don't see any discussion on Gold CashBack MasterCard? The effective cash back rate is ~3%, seems very good.

The cash back card.
The earned cash back is not credit into your card automatically, you need manually redeem them.

SCB seem to be ok to waive for my previous SCB cards (which is with lesser benefits though).
This year is my 1st year using SCB Gold Cash-Back

I always have no problem getting annual fee waived for my SCB Gold. But now I am thinking to apply SCB Gold CashBack.

i've juz applied and activated my card. now waiting for the touchnGo

kinda bummer needa to call in to ask them to waive the annual fees....how i wish it could juz b waived automatically instead.

I did a Instant Transfer from HLB to pay Stan Chart credit card on 24/7, yesterday check Stan Chart online banking don't see that transaction, today 26/7 check Stan Chart online banking again only see it.

AFAIK, for IBFT U will see the amt credited into CASA almost immediately but not for CC account.

For PBB, you can see IBFT payment immediately in the PBe portal... just most banks does it one day later.
The best indicator would be to check the Available Balance of the CC.

want to ask for sc gold cash back card, if I do payment through sc website like PBA, indah water and achieve rm500, this payment entitle for cash back? I only know insurance is not entitled. notworthy.gif

Yes, for me I always thought 1 day, so I am surprise on the 1st time checking. I did not call CS but I waited until 26/7 and check again, then the payment is in. So "Instant" not really instant.

It is instant, just that credit card transaction can't show it posted immediately, but ur available credit limit will increase based on ur payment amount..
