Seems good since we got 300 bucks rebate but sounds too good....any trap lying?

I've read the TnC...doesn't seem to have any other conditions...or did I miss out?

Yea the "Certain" spending worries me. Which category of spending qualifies for the rebates and don't Petrol, Utilities, Retail, Dining or just anything will entitled for it?

Actually what does retail transactions consist of? From my understanding "Retail" means things bought from shopping mall like Body Glove, Fossil and etc But need to spend 1k for retail...macam a bit hard

Agreed, average only, optimum use is to spend rm540 on CB transactions (=rm81 CB), balance of rm1960 non-CB trans gives rm3.92.

Agree.. CIMB Cash Rebate Card - 5 % Cash Rebate for eCommerce also cap at RM30  aka RM600 of spending..

AFAIK, retail trans are either CB trans or non-CB trans(NCB, like insurance n petrol etc).
When CB+NCB is 500-799.99 , u got CB*2%(capped at rm10)
When CB+NCB is 800-1499.99, u got CB*3%(capped at rm25)
When CB+NCB >=1500, u got CB*5%(capped at rm50)

Actually that is a good question. For RM833 spend, it has to be all eligible transactions in order to maximize 3% rebate. Say if you spend RM800 on eligible tranx and RM33 on non-eligible tranx, you only get RM24, so RM833 all is only for eligible tranx.

The same goes for 2%.

My cash back gold card being charged RM 185.50 AF. Called to request waiver, was told to wait for 3 days to see the outcome.

As far as SCB is concern, they don't give waiver on annual fee before they are charged, wonder why you said otherwise?
