urm.. there are numerous ways.. the basic is 30%-50% (depending on the project spenditure) before any work begins and the remainder to be paid after client reviews the final work and must pay before the surrendering of any files. the complex method will not only concern Deposit and Remainder but also termination fees and etc.

Western Union can be dealt at the POS MALAYSIA office or branches if I'm not mistaken. That's what I glanced at one time around their website. Telegraph Transfer or Electronic Transfer of funds is normally done at the banks and you'll need to fill up a form if not mistaken. I've never done it as well honestly. But if I'm not mistaken, both methods will involve a small processing or transaction fee charged towards you when either sending or receiving money. cheers.

Well there is always a problem dealing with someone you do not know. If its foreign and you know then very well then that should be OK. Normally just take 50% as deposit and another 50% when goods are delivered. Paypal or Western Union is OK. As for Paypal you can sell it. If the rate is good there is plenty of buyers.

Western Union was supposed to be able to be collected in the local post office but when i go to my local post office, they didn't offer this service although it was stated in the web site. So i went to any branch of the Bumiputera commerce bank to collect the money and VOILA, there it is. BTW, you don't need a bank account open in Bumiputera Commerce to collect your money.

ha, i think the "b) TT Money - http://www.moneytt.ca/en/index.htm" link that i've mentioned above only works for the Canadian.. paiseh paiseh.. And about the Western Union, the link does mention that the Payee will need to have WU Agent at their place to send the money ... rite? Blue Silver ? so i suspect i just have to switch in between this WU and also Bank Transfer for my client lo~~~ 1 more thing, will the bank charge fee (process fee) high? Coz i think the exchange rate is based on the bank 's rate, which i always think is quite disadvantage for us...

QUOTE(FirFir @ Jun 11 2006, 02:34 AM) And about the Western Union, the link does mention that the Payee will need to have WU Agent at their place to send the money ... rite? Blue Silver ? What kind of WU agent ah? Is the bumiputera bank considered as the agent? All i did was fill in a form with the reference number, then attached an photostat of my IC to the bank and i was able to collect my money already oh.
