This serves as a street bike and it comes handy in city drive due to better torque. For long journey, I guess it will be suffering. I did consider it though. Haha

QUOTE(wordtalks @ Nov 1 2013, 08:32 AM) For me I think its the opposite. Really? I'm actually considering this and z250. 4k difference and I get 390cc and, a really beautiful orange tone! Duke200 better for traffic since smaller in size, not the handlebar without balancer. Also lighter, easier to maneuver. For the Duke390, its better for highway since topspeed already >160km/h, engine rev also no need so high, heavy = more stable. Got balancer also, no need vibrate so much. |

QUOTE(wordtalks @ Nov 1 2013, 09:56 AM) First rule for recommendation is tell us your requirement. Then I can start judging from there. I will use it mostly for my work. It's about 90 minutes journey, mainly b roads. Road conditions, not so good, not so bad with certain pots and holes. I asked Kapaa motor and they said for reliability, z250 is better and cheaper maintenance, is it? I thought single cylinder is cheaper?Your workplace you pass by city/highway how many percent? But yeah, Duke200 more towards city riding. Cruising 100km/h no problem. But for highway so people might want to take it up to 140km/h and above. |

Is the vibration obvious enough to feel it? |

QUOTE(pallmall @ Nov 7 2013, 10:33 AM) doesnt looks like it, i saw in shop still selling about RM20k for abs version duke 200 In my opinion, kawa z250 is nice. But a bit too expensive. With only 4k to 5k, I can get so much power and a very sexy design. Plus, it has abs. Kawa ninja 300 gas abs and not the current ninja and z250 right?to be honest i agree after test ride 390, darn it but still love mah 200 although kawa z250 also a naked bike, almost same price with 2 cylinder engine i only interested in duke personal preferences, i think z250 kinda looks a bit unstable (design wise), tail kinda too small, but thats just me |
