im looking for a new mouse and mousepad to play cs 1.6...

i know there are many brands and types of mouse(according to their dpi and functions)

what i want to know is that what type of mouse and mousepad that the pros (like fmj or ntbd) uses...im thinking of buying razor krait and xtrac mousepad...but a friend of mine said that most of the pros uses the microsoft mouse and mousepad because of its stability...

anyone who has in depth knowledge about this particular matter? thank you in advance smile.gif

cheap USB optical mouse, haha, if you are really pro, any decent mouse will do

if you are those type of people who often gets panic and can't press the correct keys on the keyboads, there are always 7 button mouse out there

I'm using Razer Diamondback Plasma LE + Exactmat or sometimes func 1030.. Well, the performance of this mouse is superb. Razer mouse is totally the most best gaming mouse ever wit the technology other company don't have. Even now Microsoft newest "Microsoft Habu" is also designed by Razer precision technology"

Logitech MX518 on func 1030 archetype surface.

I LOVE both the mouse and the surface but the surface is kinda not wide enough for my swipe T_T I want a larger 1030 archetype!

im currently playing on chapalang mouse and chapalang mouse pad

both also like godly years ago but i still can play CS very well

i have a problem though as i cannot migrate 2 Optical mouses
i cant play well since i skip my mouse alot with the ball below (ball mouse)

any where i can get a ball mouse ( high end ) to play CS rather than cheap ones coz all i can find are cheap ones

ball mouse + ball mouse surface would do fine

any suggestions and locations to get one ?

any decent mouse is okay. i dun think they have any super duper effect on your game play.

most pro gamers oversea used wateva mouse their sponsor gave them...n they tell us they're using the best mouse...then they changed sponsors.. and then tell us again they're using the best mouse..lolz..

still using mx300 + func.. about 3 yrs oredi....

any decent mouse is okay. i dun think they have any super duper effect on your game play.

most pro gamers oversea used wateva mouse their sponsor gave them...n they tell us they're using the best mouse...then they changed sponsors.. and then tell us again they're using the best mouse..lolz..

still using mx300 + func.. about 3 yrs oredi....
*
Uh... The sponsors cannot control what mouse the sponsored progamers use, only the mousepad, headphones, and other accessories. Mouse selection is totally preference to each progamer and I think they have policy to not get mouse-sponsored.

im currently playing on chapalang mouse and chapalang mouse pad

both also like godly years ago but i still can play CS very well

i have a problem though as i cannot migrate 2 Optical mouses
i cant play well since i skip my mouse alot with the ball below (ball mouse)

any where i can get a ball mouse ( high end ) to play CS rather than cheap ones coz all i can find are cheap ones

ball mouse + ball mouse surface would do fine

any suggestions and locations to get one ?

In fact it does matter and it does help, more or less.
You can't argue that 2 gamers with the same skill level, the one with the more comfortable and better mouse wins.

agreed

if u guys used a mouse called Trekker, which was ball based then maybe u would understand why smile.gif

every little detail affects the game
visit SK's main site as they talk about

screen FPS
monitor refresh rates
mouse pads
mouse quality
keyboard and keyboard response rates
wireless or non wireless
hard disk speeds, OS configuration

every little thing effects a player when he plays , even the monitor size and screen resolution .. some ppl at 800, some 1024, some 1280 width

that slow delay makes A misses the enemy (B) by 1/100 of a second, when the mouse SKIPPED, and A dies
A's team loses the round...

get my drift? smile.gif
u might be skilled but Hardware always plays a part in gaming...

pro-gamers think outside the box...

If u r serious gamers, really u need gaming equipment, i think mouse is more important thing.... hehe... Mousepad, u can get razer mantis... hehe... biggrin.gif

dont think its coz of mousepad tho,coz the prob is it suddenly turns off and on while playing.again and again.
frustrating if it turns off on 'critical' time.mati sesie~aiyaa doh.gif
my friend face the same problem too.
but got ppl who dont hav probl.how lucky. cry.gif
went to razer forum and they said its compatibility problem with some system.
so,i even bought a new mobo and a new psu for my 2nd diamondback.

CS:Source brings a whole new feel to Counter-Strike. You can't wallbang.
You can't grenade players through walls too. Not to mention you can't stack more than 2 players in a boost.

You don't like the movement? Well, you have to get used to that plus, you will have to set these rates in the in-game console or autoexec for maximum hitbox and fire registry. They are cl_cmdrate 100, cl_updaterate 100 and rate 25000 Another thing about the player movement in source is that its smoother, far better animated and humanly possible.(except for the jumping part)

To be honest, Counter-Strike Version 1.6 (engine HL) is now in a ditch.
It may be perfect, but not from the views of PC hardware manufacturers.
It won't sell the latest cards, processors and memory.

If you know what the future of Counter-Strike is think Source my fellow FPS'ers.

Whats with the harsh words? Though i feel teq is in the wrong topic lol, that doesnt mean you have be rude.

Btw Razor Krait user here, just switched to it after my trusty Rm10 A4 mouse gave up on me. Not the best mouse for CS as ive heard (me no money for better mouse cry.gif ), but my aiming, most notably awp, has improved in terms of consistency. I still suck though sigh..

Using the microsoft wireless laser mouse 6000 that comes along with the microsoft wireless comfort keyboard. You guys know whats addictive?....Call Of Duty 2!.....Get 7-8 ppl and do a free for all(you'll be cussing like a sailor, having personal vendetta's with one another leading to manhunts and being ambushed in the most unlikely ways thinkable)

This is a 1.6 question ppl(Hate CS:S).I love using the awp, but it takes quite a long delay for the gun to come up and get settled before i can start scoping or more so even shooting!.Is this normal in cs1.6 or am i wrong to use the 1.5 version as a referendum?...

p.s.-please post a way of how i am able to fix this should there be a solution to my lil problem.Also!!!!!...who here still uses the dynamic crosshair?....just to get some feedback

haha sebok la LuRaYs
ive check razers site already.my problem is not the first time.
they(razer) dont know whats the problem and dont know how to fix this.
they just send a new one to those who claims their warranty.
and its not because of firmware or mouse driver.btw firmware is NOT a mouse driver.

I regret forking out RM200 for this MX518. I use it for surfing the web only and I still don't know how to make use of that DPI stuff.

The most upsetting thing is, I rush to buy from LY cause I'm going to Singapore. And over here I found out it was selling around $60.

You don't really need the dpi thing from MX518 for cs.

When I was using MX518 back then I was on 400dpi and never switched.

you dun have too many infrared mice in the market at the moment.

Gaming Logitech G502.
A new mouse specially market to target gamers.
Previous logitech model mouse you can kiss them goodbye.
Most of them were failure. Users complaint so badly that they came out with this g502 that brought great confidence in gamers again.

Just my two cents. I'm not at all confident anymore in Logitech mice.

Currently using Razer Taipan + Razer Goliathus Speed Edition. ^^

im looking for a new mouse and mousepad to play cs 1.6...

i know there are many brands and types of mouse(according to their dpi and functions)

what i want to know is that what type of mouse and mousepad that the pros (like fmj or ntbd) uses...im thinking of buying razor krait and xtrac mousepad...but a friend of mine said that most of the pros uses the microsoft mouse and mousepad because of its stability...

anyone who has in depth knowledge about this particular matter? thank you in advance  smile.gif

G402, with XXL qck, 400dpi, 500 polling rate ,windows mouse sensitivity 6/11, in game sensitivity 1.58. Middle mouse is still quite hard. Mouse shape is a bit unusual, but will take some time to get used to it.

Really wish i went for the G302 instead of G402 cuz it's lighter but, that time i bought g302 not yet released.

I try to go for light mouse + smooth surface.

I'm not that serious in csgo yet, just got my rank yesterday, it was MG2. Pretty sure I'll start on csgo soon. I played competitively on dota 2. But it's a pretty good mouse for fps games I would say. I use a artisan mousepad.

PowerLogic Xcraft 5000 bought at Tesco for rm 38.00

with decent quality. good to hold. got forward and back button.

http://leapfroglobal.com/powerlogic/x-craft-tron-5000.html
with canvas sleeve to protect your cable and gold plated usb for better connectivity.

I think this should be good enough. Unless you want the expensive razer type then this one is not your choice.
