impressive card indeed, smoking Titan and 780 in 1440p and above but loses to 780 in 1080p? fishy indeed

but the pricing is awesome for its level of performance, even the GTX780 cant cope with that. Nvidia will have to perform some price cuts in enar future?

but honestly, i think if we limit the temp of R9 290X using softwares, shouldnt be any problem

unless it limits the power draw as well which then results in drop in perf

performance wise, HD7990 is superior

R9 290 is a single card compared to HD7990 which is dual card. so it wont encounter CFx issues when gaming

custom cooling are generally preferred as theyre cooler and quieter. however they do not expel hot air outside the casing but into the casing itself

from experience, >60% for reference cooling is considered uncomfortable already

also, how did ya get 70-75C during COD Ghosts? im always at a constant 79-80C at 60% fan speed
