to all sifus, im planning to buy r9 290 non-x.. but i heard the heat issue is very serious and the temp will rise v high.. is it true?

i will b getting r9 290 this couple of days. so, before i confirm wiv shop, may i know is it the right time to get it now or shud i wait for the gpu wiv better cooler to come out, lets say from asus? if so, is there any rumor when will it b released and will the price increase or same?

my rig consists of asus r9 290, but i already confirm cm gx650 wiv the shop as he has no other psu stock. has anyone tried this kind of psu with r9 290 before? is it really will damage my gpu in long run?

someone asked me to post here, so i did.
guys, i encountered one v weird situation. my mobo is asus b85m-e and my gpu is asus r9 290. i bought the samsung s24c350hl monitor just now and after i connect my hdmi cable between my monitor and my gpu hdmi port, nothing came out on the screen. i have tested the hdmi cable wiv my monitor and ps3, and there is display on the monitor. on the other hand, i connected my cpu and lg tv using hdmi cable, there is oso display on the tv... can anyone tell me what is wrong between my monitor and newly bought rig??? |
