guy what you think of GPUBoss (yes i was Tags noob for use to recommend this site as reference for better VS...) link but base site R9 290X lost against"s all benchmark against GTX 780...
if you read comment on site the Mod Jude Fiorillo say gonna change he wrote

really... yes i forgot about GPU boost.. same as radeon gpu right cause i see during non gaming my Gpu clock jum 200Mhz-400Mhz.. then on game boost to 1030Mhz.

still (for sake showing i am not Biases ) cannot compare with Reference card Vs Non reference.. as R9 290X TriX is mod/remove previous weakness..Thermal/oc improve.. against GTX 780 Ti where still using Reference cooling( very awesome looking )
