Guys, if u need to get a replacement card for whatever reason, its free. Just call the maybank call-line.

I walked into the taman desa branch the other day and they said i would need to pay 50 bucks for a replacement..figured the clown tried to swindle some money from me.

HI guys, just wondering if anyone has faced this

Trying to pay for something online using my American Express (wanna reap the benefits of weekend goodies)

Problem is its saying "The card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit or debit card number."

For one, i know my credit limit is no where near reached, so that cant be a problem.

ANy ideas why? This is not the first time..thought ill try my luck here before calling maybank up.

Edit: Yes the site does accept american express. It uses a Paypal payment gateway, showing the amex sign.

i called them up to ask whats going on, they said the transaction never even went through, so they are not sure.

I tried again with my AMEX, same error, cant go through. Used my Mastercard and it goes through. Sigh

i was paying for an IELTS exam on IDP's website. they use paypal gateway for thier credit card payments..
