For the past month I didn't get any SMS alert for all my transactions. Initially thought something wrong with telco but today after pumping petrol with supp card still no sms I called the CS.

He reset my phone number and I got a SMS stating that the MSOS phone number has been changed from no A to no B. Weird thing is I have never given any other number except no B. And no A is not even my phone number.

Is this cash back program something new?

http://www.americanexpress.com.my/amx_info...-OffersServices

Seems like a one off thing, doesn't say must be weekend or weekdays etc

It looks like the annual year end cash back campaign but this year is getting tougher with min spending of RM 1k

But only limited to the first 700 user. And not sure about this part where it says "campaign is exclusive to the recipient of this communication through SMS, EDM or Postcard"

So if you didn't receive a card or SMS or email means not eligible?

If it's through invitation, then this could be different campaign then.

unless they process the auto debit on weekends... which i think most probably won't be the case... tongue.gif
so i think it's still more secured to pay manually through m2u on weekends for the 5% instead of autopay. nod.gif

only 5x points during weekdays, which is equivalent to 2% in terms of points conversion.
but weekends are entitled for 5% in addition to the 5x points. smile.gif

Yes and no.
No because it depends on merchants' transaction day, if they process during weekends, yes you will get. Else, no.
Some online merchants don't process on weekends.

5% rebate, depend on when they process auto debit.. like last month, i'm lucky because celcom process it on weekend, so i get the 5% rebate from maybank.. but this month they process on weekdays, so no 5% rebate from maybank.. but for celcom, if you sign up auto debit can enjoy 5% from celcom iteself.. if i'm lucky, i will get 5% rebate from celcom and another 5% rebate from maybank thumbup.gif
