Hehe...yeah

Not quite sure how it works on renewal though - my replacement cards arrived before the FD was renewed - Maybank only issued my cards with 1 year validity.

Citibank I also placed FD for 12 months but the validity of the card is a few years.

Also, Maybank will charge RM10 stamping fee (Citi didn't charge this)

hi all,
sorry for noob question... but where do i check my TP balance?
cant seem to find my TP balance...

Log into MB2U and it shows your TP balance

Sometimes it doesn't show, just try later / different time. Just logged in to MB2U and not showing at the moment.

You can check under "Reward Points" too, normally this doesn't work but just tried and it shows up thumbup.gif

Interesting problem today - tried to make a booking via Emirates and AMEX payment keeps getting rejected.

According to Maybank, the security code I'm entering (ie. 4 digits on the front of the card) are incorrect - looks like when I received my replacement card last month (expiry end Jan 2014) the security code wasn't updated in Maybank's system

My total of usage for past year...
PS: i just noticed that the WMC and VI are not included in it.

Spent RM400k+ in a year? rclxms.gif

BTW, am I correct in that the MBB WMC is better for redeeming Enrich miles than the MBB VI for local spending?

My calculation is that

VI = RM2250 local / RM900 Overseas
WMC : RM2000 local / RM1000 Overseas

How does the exchange rate on the cards compare, any idea / recent overseas transactions to compare?

the so called premium card - maybank visa infinite has only 5 trips to priority pass lounges
yet is requires an annual income of 180k?
i better go with citi prestige anytime

But Maybank VI has the best value Enrich redemption , and 5x TP on all overseas spend drool.gif

Anyway, I applied VI by just linking it to an FD without any supporting income documents.

Actually the Maybank WMC has a higher requirement (240K income), min 100k Annual spend for AF waiver (vs. VI RM50K) and it has worse redemption for Enrich miles (on overseas spend)

How much FD must you pledge to get that card?
*
In my case I linked it to an existing FD and proposed the amount and the application was accepted

Maybe best if you just call them and ask

Go to Accounts + Banking > Rewards > Rewards

It should show all your cards with TPs above 2000 there .

Tried it just now and works fine smile.gif
