my salary is debited to maybank everymonth. i apply the credit card with a call only then approved my petronas card. after few days, my application approved but i find out petronas card no gd and i call again to cancel the card and apply maybank two cards at same days. few days later, i got the maybank 2 card approved.

don need any document at all. but i apply it last two year, dont know now can be done o not.

i went to maybank's card centre, same circumstances, they still wanted one month salary slip from me.

statement not available yet (statement date 26th)...oi maybank mau BT la CNY coming

Guys, I just received a call from a number 016-227 4710 asking for my contact details as Maybank wants to send me "insurance policy".

I hanged up when she started asking about my card details.

Is this a fraud attempt because I wasn't aware that the Maybank 2 Gold Card comes with free insurance?

You did the right thing. IF if the call is from Maybank, they will have your card details already.

CL 10k is entitled to be upgrade to Platinum from Gold right?

dats a gud move, u should call center and report on it since u have the caller ID...

but for me, if a called proposing or special deal on insurance, i just rudely terminate the call..

no auto upgrade, must go and request.

Yesterday went to KLCC for upgrading of card from M2C Gold to Plat. My friend did it last week and she told me GST would not be charge for upgrading.

Hence I went and upgrade mine too. But was told that GST would still be in place immediately after receiving the card. If it's less than 6 month from anniversary month, then only pay during next cycle. So I only upgraded my credit limit to reflect Platinum one and she say next time (in fact next month, my anniversary month is on July) I can just come in without the 3 months pay slip documents also can upgrade already.

I thought it is based on your annual income rather than CL?

who recently receive their MBB2Card, i want to ask if the cards are printed with MAYBANKARD or MAYBANK on top of the cards? and what are the difference ?

mine CL got upgraded from 7k to 10k to 12k

MBB never offers me to upgrade to Platinum. hmm

my annual income has reached 60k last two years, yet I never got offered for a platinum

this have been discussed earlier. new mbb2cards are printed with maybank only. it's the same in features, no other differences.

You can always request to upgrade.

Have u every informed MBB that ur income has increased? Otherwise how would they know?
