apply mykad replacement, online smile.gif

RM10 pay via credit card (amex not supported by payment gateway though sweat.gif ).

https://mykadganti.jpn.gov.my/login.php

1 login registration ties to 1 unique email addres. so if u want to replace for mom and dad, use their email to create login account. or create new gmail for ur parents biggrin.gif (which you can access later for account verification)

you can choose your collection location (JPN office) at the online mykad replacement portal above.

the only "manual" process is to collect the card personally (need your thumbprint to authenticate your identity vs mykad info)

Maybank double-posted 2 same transactions (done on Sunday).... does anyone have the same issue ?
The duplicate transaction was posted a day later.
Card: Maybankard 2 AMEX.

Called in and they said the merchant probably posted "twice"... is this even possible ?

Just check my transaction noticed my bill was posted twice on 19 jan itself and 20 Jan.

Will they reverse it later?
*
I have the same issue also. The transaction was on 19/01/2014 and it was posted twice on 19/01/2014 and 20/01/2014. Submitted a dispute form at a branch (thinking it is a must since it was posted already and that was before calling CS) and at the same time lodged a case with CS (in case the branch personnel does not fax the dispute form to the related department). CS said they will investigate and a reversal could be done after checking with the merchant. I was asked to check my cc account via M2U on 29 or 30 Jan 2014 for the reversal, if any.

By the way, in addition to this post, the merchant is Parkson-Sunway Carnival Mall.

My AMEX double charge is from
DIVA - Midvalley
AEON - IOI Mall

I believe Maybank's system is not working correctly, rather than a merchant issue... because different merchant

Amex's cash back is valid for purchases on the weekend. Any reason why weekend and not the whole week? They charge a higher rate for weekend transactions and thus can afford for the cashback?

What are the % fee charges for VISA/MASTER vs AMEX? Just wondering on the differences.

Thanks.

Hello All,

I had renewed my ETIQA car insurance by using AMEX card.
the operator called me and asked for the CID 4-digit. Is it normal to give this confidential info? start to worry after giving her..

Just guessing the reason being that most working individuals or families only have time to shop on the weekends.

Hence, this card is perfect to help them save more during their weekend shopping trips.

my opinion maybank doesn't want to make it easy for us to get cashback have to plan it for weekends

Yeah that too is right, otherwise Amex might suffer the same fate as ocbc ti. tongue.gif

i think it is still too costly for amex to give 5%+5xtp(2%) every day, although amex charge higher rate than visa/master. so by giving only for weekends, amex can use the extra profit from weekdays to cover the weekends cash back to the users. hmm.gif

no matter which day you using..u still get 5x points..
no matter which day you using(if allowed for weekdays)...the cap of cash rebate also RM50..
so there are not much significant lose to maybank..
