What aspect of the sound system is improved? I wonder if this also applies to the 2.0L VTIL
*
Yes it works for the 2.0 VTiL as well. Just got my car today and tried it. Difference is like switching on the "loud" function on some car audio systems.

The all 4 windows down with the remote trick is also quite neat.

Overall so far so good with the car.

AUDIO QUALITY IMPROVEMENT BY OVERSEAS FORUMER:
ANYONE TRIED THIS? MIND TO SHARE THE RESULT?

but even before doing that, since you have the Touring and I do too, I was able to improve by 100x the sound quality going in the developper menu and setting the DSP to Flat ON.

Steps:
Press Nav + Menu + Back 3 seconds
The 2 screens will display debug menus you should not have access normally
Press return on the touch screen one (you don't need it)
Press Menu for 3 seconds
You will be in the developer menu
Scroll down to DSP/AMP settings
Scroll to 'Flat' set it to 'On'
Enjoy!

Does your setting stay on? Cos I think mine resets to the original setting after car goes off and on again.

Us malaysian are deemed to have more aggressive driving style which cvt is unable to cope .
moreover, the 5 gear auto was tried n tested in previous gen of honda. i'd say it's an equal change instead of downgrade.

+1 on this. It all relates back to your driving style. Some prefer CVT and some don't. You can probably Google it up to know the answers to why. As a manufacturer, it's just not cost effective to offer all variants to please everyone.

u can't really downshift to have very effective engine breaking like in a manual cos of the protection built in to prevent u from stressing the gearbox.

that's my experience driving other paddle shift cars though, not the accord.

Hi guys,

Just a little survey.

You guys know that there are 4 colors to choose for the Navi Sceen: Blue, Amber, Red, and Green.

Which color you think is the best looking for the Navi Screen?

Me also green.
Want to share some story yesterday, I went to SC for 1k service then i noticed 1 new silver accord installing the modulo bodykit  incl. door visor w chrome by Honda vendor. I ask SA( not my SA) price for door visor installed. She says RM270 (honda website RM400). Why so cheap? She added, the bodykit and visor installed are not original honda but the look and quality almost same. Honda branch will give a warranty on that product too.
My concern, how if other owners buy accord complete with bodykit ( more than rm 5k) then they install immitation product? No wonder some SA can give more discount on accord we purchased because they have high margin on that accesories. ( pay original installed immitation)
By the way, i had ordered for my accord the door visor and side molding from them. Hehe...At least I know im using immitation product with lower price including honda warranty.

I installed the duck tail spoiler only. My SA got it done for me for 400 instead of 600 honda price. But yes, I was made aware that it is not from honda. Need to drill 2 holes to install. Looks the same so nothing to complain.

I feel that's the only thing I can add to do justice to the car. Any more and you take away the exec look. But that's just me.

Is Locktech really that good, even without the engine cutoff feature not connected?

If u remove the keyfob from the car, it will not kill the engine but just a beeping alarm will go off inside and outside the car (think u can adjust the setting from the menu). But if u off the engine after that, and u don't have the key....hehehe makan sendiri.
