First we need to test whether the DVD/movie in motion lock is linked to parking brake or speedometer/gps.

Park you car in safe place, try to play dvd/movie with parking brake off,

> if you can still play dvd/movie with parking brake off it means the video in motion lock is linked to either speedometer or gps to determine the car in motion or stationery. This is very hard to bypass.

> If you cannot play dvd/movie once the parking brake off, it means the lock is linked to the parking brake switch. This is easy to bypass.

I have a bad feeling that it might be linked to Speedo or GPS.

There is no phone mirroring available, no idea on 2.4 though.

just visited Showroom in JB, not more 2013/2014 stock except 2.0 vti, new booking have to wait till March/April for delivery

I thought I had that before I sent for my first service, it autolock .. But it never do now. Will send my car for 2nd service this week and see what they'll say.
