My accord 2.0 VTIL end 2016, just 6 months old wth 7500KM is having Engine Leaking and Drive Shaft Leaking.

Service Centre is claiming its a known issue of parts Engine Filter (not quite sure the parts name). It's leaking from there. As for DriveShaft it's a manufacture defect.

I will talk to HQ tomorrow on how they going to resolve this matter.
Really upset and disappointed.
I will share the whole nightmare story from beginning, too stressful now can't write much now.

Those new buyers, pls put hold on first.
Or call Honda and ask if they have this known issue in Engine for accord. I will reconfirm the parts tomorrow. Let me the only victim. According to SC got few accord hit with this problem. Look how shit this Honda has became.

Please share how you noticed the leaking. Noise? vibration?

My car clocked at 12K KM now and i have the steering vibration and some time i felt the car "wobble" on uneven road.

Tried to check with honda SC and thier feedback was "It was normal. Design issue".

Faced similar problems like yours. Now waiting for warranty parts from Kajang Honda sc.

They claim to change the driveshaft things. Plus perform brake skim as mine have vibrate issues as well during hard braking

you are speaking as the driver or as the passenger?

if as a driver then Mazda but as a passenger, the Accord but then again, I am not sure if the term "comfortable" is the right word to describe the Mazda laugh.gif

although the Mazda triumph in terms of driving dynamics but it isn't exactly comfortable, just overall much better driving experience.

Comfortable meaning to me is soft and easy ride for both driver and passenger.

i found our accord too bumpy (mine 2.4 with 18" rim), the suspension is very busy for daily ride on Klang Valley road condition, but excellent on highway with smooth road surface.

what is the aspect ratio of your tyres now?

i'm running on the stock 2.0 and i find the ride is reasonably acceptable.

probably your aspect ratio is on the low side?

if you want a less bumpy ride then you can change to a higher ratio tire but that will take away some of the sporty appearance and also some ride handling especially when doing hard cornering.

Hi, there's a gap between rear seat's bottom and top part, there's also clicking sound from front passenger seat when no one's sitting on it. Can SCs rectify this problem? Front bumper is also loose, oh damn the build quality...

Its been 3 years adey, driving the 9th gen accord. Still facing rattling at the engine bay as if there is some loose screw. Rattling at the rear deck...at the drivers door panel. Did some research and removed the rear deck myself... Nope, rattle still there. Its like the cover of the C pillar is hitting the rear window. Then the door panel at the driver side. Need to put some tape or spounge. But that will look ugly since the culprit is from the top edge of the plastic cover. Yup... This realy does suck

Honda Malaysia really needs to step up its Quality Control

Seems like the high volume production is a bane on QC as well as SC (crowded & poorly done as well)
