btw, ever seen a top end italian frame priced close to rm20k frame needing a reaming of bb/headtube preparation?

talking about reputable and high quality manufacturing. pfftt...

my less than 6k frame comes prepped, no need whatevershit reaming.
*
talking about reaming..... some rather un-related thoughts just came up...

QUOTE(malleus @ Oct 14 2013, 04:07 PM)
I got a rather dumb question. Tubulars right? Is the glue compulsory? Or is it just for the extra safety?
*
i know some people who are lazy just use tufo tubular tape without glue... it can work... but there is a certain danger to it if you corner like valentino rossi on a 125cc kapchai...

properly glued tubulars are the best way since tubulars are dangerous to begin with... if you ever roll one... you'll never want to ride them again....

if expressway cannot then highway? i just follow the group...hope to explore more place to cycling coz sempah n ulu langat also bored edi
*
technically... any busy road that don't have sign that shows bicycle can go on it...you should stay off it... that is what i understand from my interpretation of the law...

which in malaysia means to give it zero f@ks....

or in iron man lingo.. rules that is made for you to ignore....

QUOTE(miaopurr @ Oct 14 2013, 04:18 PM)
VN @ unker just like other brands he sell la. not an official dealer.
*
but it still has to be sourced from somewhere here right... unless he go and fly it in from another dealer not in malaysia... kinda numbnuts...

he is partly right... if he is referring to tufo.. the caveat here is that tufo states that their tape should only be used on their tubular... so, if you use conti, vittoria and other shit... in should in theory not work...

it seems that their tape knows to eject non tufo tires while you are banking into a corner at 75kph....

glue lar... dun be lazy.. tubulars is a "cari susah" tire... you already decided that you want to "cari susah"... why try to shortcut it....julian devries ages lance armstrong's tires for 7 years you know...

my favourite brand.... not that i get high from sniffing it....

that's like telling your GF a condom is not needed to prevent pregnancy during sexy time when you run out of it....

or air is not important to a tire when the tire shop's compressor konks out....

or the pilot saying the engines on a plane is not needed to propel the plane when you see one of the engines caught fire or fell off mid flight 22,000 feet up in the sky
