Cant believe caad 10 cost around RM5k plus for the 105 groupset. Was planing swap all my parts onto caad10 if i were to buy it. Its a pity they dont sell the frameset only

over here, the hubs are close to rm2k.. rims are about rm300 at TRM for the archetype 23mm...spokes range from rm3 to rm15 per piece depending on whether you want straight gauge, double / triple butted or aero spokes like sapim cx / cx-ray or dt aerolites...expect no less than RM2500 for the complete wheel without skewers

weight wise, depending on your spoke hole configurations, spokes and whether you put in nipple washers... should be around 1450grams to 1650 grams depending on what spokes you used to lace the wheel...

actually... CK is a bit of a waste of money if you are looking for a low weight build... the hubs itself are not light in the first place and the archetype is no light rim to begin with... it usually weighs around 480 odd grams coming out of the factory...

the stash that i had was using hubs much lighter than CK's complete hubset laced with CX-Rays and it couldn't get lower than 1500 grams...

Lol caad is 'dale answer for racer who wan good frame but not keen to splash $$ on carbon frame. Giant TCR 1 (aluminium) only cost around 3.8k with 105 as well. Not sure if the alu TCR are as good as caad 10. Both are nice but price wise giant wins hands down but performance wise i not really sure about it. The tcr alu also have hydroform parts here and there & its compact frame as oppose to traditional frame to the caad (which also had hydroformed part if u raba the frame cant be seen in pics). The fitting for both also are quite close to frankly
