What's up with the Dortmund wankfest? Is this a Dortmund thread? Seriously

True they are a strong team with good players but I don't think they have looked all too impressive thus far.

Bright start to the season but their red hot form has fizzled somewhat.

The last time we played Dortmund, their pressing and intensity were very impressive.

Napoli made them look very ordinary though. Cutting off the link between Sahin/Bender to their attackers will be crucial (like how Napoli stifled them), and I think we will miss Flamini doing this. Their defence isn't the best so as long as we don't do anything stupid Godzilla + Rambo + Jack should be more than a handful for them.

Agree with Flamini. Of all the games I would not have wanted him to be missig, this will be the one he will be missing.

Other than DM, I believe we are sorted in most areas against Dortmund.

With Flamini out the biggest concern will be the hole, the area between our defense in midfield, making Mkhitaryan Dortmund's key player IMO. Arteta will have his hands full. Lets hope he is up for it.

Prediction:

Arsenal 2 - Dortmund 2.

Chance for Arsenal to win is slim as the team is over-confident. Plus Dortmund need points to qualify for 2nd round.

Well this just happened in Palace vs Fulham

Knowing those goal-of-the-[insert timeline here] panel of knobs who decide these things, Wilshere's goal won't be goal of the season let alone goal of the month

Cracking goal though tbf

Wow the first 30 minutes of football was perhaps the worst we have played this season. No movement, no closing down at all whatsoever. Players were statuesque as f*ck.

I'm pretty thankful Dortmund scored that goal because only then the switch was flicked. Looked more like the Arsenal that is top of the BPL table towards the end.

Hopefully we can keep the momentum going and we will nick another goal or two.

overconfident. he thought he could dribble pass Norwich defenders, he could do it again against the Dortmund players.

TBF Arteta got in Ramsey's way a little IMO. If he had smashed it away immediately would probably have hit Arteta.

we r just unlucky.... the moment we r going to win the game they score the goal

Nah.. we were so poor I don't even know where to begin. If we had won it would be unfair to Dortmund.

Yes please predict losses for us. Everything goes downhill once you predict a win or a draw.

we poor seriously???? we control the game in 2nd half but we cant take most of the chances created

Look at all the misplace passes and aimless long balls la. For a period of the 2nd half we dominated for a spell but Dortmund were the better team on the balance of the whole game.

I can't even count the number of aimless long balls from Rosicky and the amount of misplaced passes from Ramsey. Cazorla brought some verve back but the midfield gave away too many cheap balls away.

Both ozil and Cazorla have started the game really badly. So many misplaced passes.

The first half against Dortmund was the worst we have ever played. This tops that!

The bookies must have bought Cazorla and Ozil. Easily two of our worst players on the pitch.
