Is there a way to close yr yahoo mail temporary in order to stop SPAM mail from coming in like how we deactivate our hotmail?? Later when we need to use it, just activate it. BTW, is this possible to stop SPAM as everyday my bulk mail is full of spam.
If not, what can I do to stop it??

so you're only receiving spam via your bulk folder its easy to handle
go to your mail options -> mail -> spam protection -> make sure your spam guard is on, and tick this option : Immediately delete these messages upon receipt. (Note: If you choose this option, you will not be able to review the messages before they are deleted.)

IMHO, disabling e-mail accounts won't stop spam. i've disabled my account (company e-mail) and the reactivate it again a month later and yet the spam still comes in.
